Creating a welcoming, sustainable community with new affordable homes for Edmonton families.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Lymburn Project Background

In 2024, the City of Edmonton issued a competitive property listing for the sale of a surplus school site at 18404 – 72 Ave NW in the Lymburn neighbourhood. Through this process, HomeEd’s proposal was selected by the City of Edmonton.

Now, we are excited about our plan to develop 22 stacked townhome clusters, each with five units and a shared garage with one parking space per unit. Units will range in size from 1-bedroom accessible units to 4-bedroom family units, following a mixed-income model, allowing residents to stay in their homes as their income grows. The Development Permit was approved March 26, 2026. Construction is expected to begin in Fall 2026, with designs based on our Ogilvie Ridge townhome development.
